- Instruct, direct employees in day-to-day operations. Exercise control over their actions.
- Coaches employees as well as Team Leaders as needed
- Evaluate employees specifically the external Team leads.
- Ensure efficiency of overall operations for the CS Technical Team
- Checking and approval of employee's DTR, reimbursements, overtime, travel request, cash advances etc.
- Provides administrative support
- Attend meetings held by the company and external client.
- Submit reports
- Conduct analysis as needed (OT, work impact etc.)
- Address/ assist basic concerns of employees (operational concerns, equipment, supplies etc.)
- Help coordinate or follow up needs for operations with internal management

Job DescriptionThe Payroll Specialist is a crucial member of the Human Resources team, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees in compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies. This role involves managing payroll data, calculating wages and deductions, ensuring accurate reporting, and addressing employee payroll inquiries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a thorough understanding of Philippine payroll regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll Processing:
- Process bi-monthly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collect, verify, and input employee timekeeping data, including attendance, overtime, leaves, and other adjustments.
- Calculate wages, salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding tax, etc.) in accordance with Philippine regulations.
- Generate and distribute payslips to employees.
- Process final pay for resigned/terminated employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all Philippine labor laws and regulations related to payroll, including the Labor Code, BIR regulations, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g., BIR Form 1601C, 2316, SSS R3/R5, PhilHealth ER2, Pag-IBIG MCRF) within the required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in Philippine labor laws and regulations.
- Assist with annual BIR reconciliation and other payroll-related audits.
Employee Support:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and other payroll-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee concerns in a timely manner.
- Provide clear and accurate information to employees regarding their pay and benefits.
Payroll System Management:
- Maintain and update the company's payroll system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot payroll system issues and work with IT or vendors to resolve them.
- Generate payroll reports and analyses as needed.
Other Duties:
- Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a fast-paced environment in the Philippines.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulations (Labor Code, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Experience in leading payroll software and HR systems
- Experience with Payroll Software and HRIS systems is a REQUIREMENT.

Job Descriptiono Process multiple payrolls accurately, including but not limited to semi-monthly pay, monthly pay, special processing, final pay, retirement pay, and maternity pay.

o Work with IT Team to address any technical issues related to payroll software.
o Create monthly schedules and update electronic report for payment of Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth Insurance Corporation (PHIC), Home Development Multi-Purpose Fund (HDMF) remittances and loans.
o Assist payroll manger with monthly withholding tax summary preparation.
o Loans
o Properly record employees company loan, external bank loan, SSS salary loan/, SSS calamity loan, HDMF multi-purpose loan, HDMF calamity loan amortization and post payments timely and accurately.
o Assist payroll manager with preparation and finalization of Annual Reports. Including Annualization and Alphalist, BIR 2316, BIR 1604C, Annex B, Annex C, Annex F
o Payroll Detailed and Summary Reports for management review as necessary.
o Prepare PhilHealth ER2 and obtain new employee's MDR.
o Update SSS R1 A for newly hired employees.
o Stay updated with relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance with payroll procedures and systems.
