We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our financial operations with precision and integrity. This role plays a critical part in overseeing job cost accounting, managing monthly closes, and ensuring the financial accuracy of our construction and development projects. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and executive leadership, helping to maintain financial control, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvements in accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting operations related to construction projects, progress billing, and WIP (Work-In-Progress) schedules.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, project profitability reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Collaborate on budget oversight, change orders, and cost-to-complete reviews
  • Monitor contracts, and change orders in coordination with project managers.
  • Manage AP/AR related to subcontractors and suppliers, including lien waivers and retention tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments.
  • Supervise junior accounting staff, if applicable.
  • Conduct audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk.
  • Conduct risk assessment of assigned department or functional area in established/required timeline.
  • Formulates strategies to ensure accomplishment of audit plan with emphasis on revenue, overhead costs and related party transactions
  • Creates ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by the management
Who are we looking for?
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant working experience
  • Must be proficient in Excel or any accounting systems like Quickbooks
  • Came from an auditing firm or worked as an auditor is an advantage
