Overview

We are looking for a Data Migration Specialist to join our team in Australia. This role plays a critical part in ensuring client data is accurately migrated during onboarding and beyond.

Schedule: 9am to 6pm Sydney Time, 1 hour unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Support law firms in transitioning from legacy systems through accurate and efficient manual data entry.
  • Import contacts, create matters with metadata, consolidate billing, and migrate documents and safe custody records.
  • Use intermediate Excel skills to organize, validate, and cleanse data throughout the migration process.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Data Migration Specialist to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
  • Meet KPIs related to data entry speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify issues during migration and apply problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
Requirements
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology (legal background desirable but not required).
  • Proven experience in manual data entry and/or data migration (legal industry experience a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and minimizing errors.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret data and resolve discrepancies.
