Responsibilities- HR&A Supervisor will lead, direct, and manage the day-to-day Human Resources and Administrative activities. Provides oversight and guidance to manpower development by monitoring processes related to recruitment/retention, compliances, compensations, benefits, training and development as well as overseeing administrative functions. The HR&A Supervisor will provide strategic guidance to the HR Department.
- Develops and oversees recruitment process.
- Reviews job advertisements before posting, screens CVs, conducts telephone screenings, coordinates interview teams, participates in interviewing candidates and ensures that documentations are collected/recorded and filed.
- Oversees all labor engagements for the country office and manages the new hires’ orientation and exit processes.
- Annually reviews the Personnel Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor laws.
- Manages timesheets of all employees, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing.
- Monitors compensations - ensuring internal equity, compliance and benefits.
- Facilitates job analysis and update job descriptions.
- Coordinates with the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly Payroll.
- Advises Management on appropriate staffing levels and assists in budget preparation.
- Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
- Ensures smooth running of all administrative functions in the office.
- Supervises all travel and hotel arrangements for staff and visitors, including visas and work permits as applicable.
- Evaluates the need for employee training and development and makes recommendations.
- Oversees the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews.
- Works with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
- Investigates employee relations issues and works to ensure human resources-related decisions are consistent and fair.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration, Psychology, or any 4-year course.
- At least Seven (7) years of experience as a Manager or Supervisor in the Human Resources and Administration Department.
- With 10 years’ experience in a related field.
- Must be familiar with country-specific laws and regulations governing Human Resources.
- Strong Background in Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Training and Development, and Talent Acquisition Management.
- Ability to work with managers to assess complex issues.
- Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make decisions.
- Appropriate handling of sensitive information
- High level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability.
