Overview

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments, statutory contributions, and benefit computations. This role requires strong reconciliation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review payroll run reports and validate against changes and inputs provided to the payroll provider
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of the entire payroll cycle, including net pay reconciliation, tax payments, and coordination with Accounting on any variances
  • Address and resolve employee concerns related to payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Compute and administer both statutory and company-mandated employee benefits
  • Handle payroll input, timekeeping validation, and ensure compliance with internal and external deadlines
  • Oversee salary adjustments, bonuses, deductions, vacation payouts, and benefit distributions
  • Audit and verify timesheets to ensure proper wage and benefit distribution
  • Administer accurate and timely bank crediting every payroll period
  • Prepare and file monthly government reports (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), including loan and contribution payments
  • Perform final pay processing and other offboarding-related payroll matters
  • Support ad-hoc payroll-related analysis and projects as needed
  • Provide assistance in the preparation and processing of monetary benefit payouts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Human Resource Management, or related courses
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing or a similar function
  • Experience in handling payroll for large headcount (1,500+ employees)
  • Solid understanding of government statutory contributions and filings (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth), including loans and other employee benefit programs
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiar with HRIS, timekeeping, payroll, and accounting systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Can work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • A team player who is open to training and continuous learning
  • Must be willing to work onsite daily
