The Public Relations Manager will lead the development and execution of DITO’s Brand Management - Integrated Marketing Communications strategies that strengthen DITO Telecommunity’s reputation in the Philippine market. This role is responsible for creating, supporting, and sustaining brand awareness, positioning, and credibility through impactful PR campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.

He/She will oversee all PR campaigns and efforts, PR agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, cost-effective initiatives, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic & Brand Management
    • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that enhance brand visibility, positioning, and reputation.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to guide PR direction.
    • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all communication channels.
  • Media & Stakeholder Relations
    • Build, nurture, and expand relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and KOLs.
    • Serve as the company PR representative as needed, demonstrating professionalism and credibility in all engagements with key media partners.
  • Campaigns & Events
    • Conceptualize, plan, and execute PR campaigns, events, and media engagements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Partner with in-house creatives and external agencies to deliver compelling content and maintain corporate identity standards.
    • Provide PR support for DITO Consumer Business campaigns and product launches.
  • Crisis & Issues Management
    • Work and provide necessary support to apply guided direction in crisis and issues management plan developed by DITO Corporate Communications Director and provide, implement support for crisis communication strategies to protect and strengthen brand reputation.
  • Agency & Internal Collaboration
    • Manage PR agency partners, including project oversight, budget management, and performance monitoring.
    • Work closely with the Marketing Communications, Consumer Business, Corporate Communications, Regulatory, and Legal teams to align messaging.
  • Content & Reporting
    • Create and oversee communication materials such as press releases, speeches, talking points, media kits, management presentations.
    • Ensure integration of PR features across digital platforms (website, social media, internal communications).
    • Track, measure, and report PR performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or Business Management.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in public relations or communications, preferably with top-tier or A-level brands.
  • Proven success in campaign development, execution, and measurement.
  • Established network with Philippine media, lifestyle reporters, and editors.
  • Excellent media relations skills and confidence in engaging press across diverse topics.
  • Strong strategic thinking, crisis management, and critical analysis capabilities.
  • Creative flair with strong appreciation of visual and brand storytelling.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
