
Field Sales Specialist

Proactively grow Eastern Exponents Inc.'s customer base by targeting provincial markets and building relationships with contractors, developers, resort owners, and homeowners. The Field Sales Specialist will be responsible for generating leads, closing sales during client visits, and representing the company professionally in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition
• Conduct regular field visits to prospective and existing clients, especially outside Metro Manila
• Present and promote Emaux and Astralpool swimming pool products and LEO Domestic water pumps
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Close sales on-site and secure initial orders or down payments whenever possible
• Represent the brand professionally in all client interactions
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients (contractors, hardware stores, developers) and B2C customers (resort/homeowners)
• Serve as a consistent point of contact for field-based inquiries and follow-ups
• Provide basic after-sales support and coordinate with in-house staff for deliveries, quotations, and technical queries
Route & Field Planning
• Plan efficient field routes to maximize time and minimize travel costs
• Prioritize hot leads, high-potential areas, and follow-up visits
• Maintain a clear and realistic weekly schedule of field activities
Reporting & Documentation
• Submit weekly reports detailing visits, leads, and conversions
• Update CRM or sales tracking spreadsheets with client data and notes
• Log feedback, objections, or opportunities observed during field visits
Sales Kit & Presentation
• Bring all necessary materials (product brochures, tablet, quotations, visit log sheets) to each visit
• Undergo and maintain up-to-date product knowledge through internal training
• Be able to explain technical product details clearly and confidently
Compliance & Integrity
• Follow internal protocols when collecting payments or facilitating orders
• Ensure clients receive official documents (ORs, contracts, delivery schedules)
• Submit field expenses or reimbursement requests with complete documentation
Required Qualifications
Graduate of Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields
Non-graduates with relevant technical sales experience are also welcome to apply
Skills and Competencies
- Proactive and sales-driven; can seal deals during client visits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Behavioral
- Customer-focused with a pleasant and professional demeanor
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Adaptable to various customer profiles and locations
- Can effectively explain technical details of water pumps and swimming pool supplies
- Comfortable speaking to both B2B (e.g., contractors, hardware stores) and B2C clients (e.g., homeowners, resort owners)
Technical :
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email, messaging apps)
- Familiar with routes in and outside Metro Manila
- Knows how to commute efficiently and preferably knows how to drive (with valid license);
- Good route planning skills (to avoid wasting time in traffic or backtracking)
Leadership
- Represents the company with professionalism and initiative
- Coordinates efficiently with internal teams for pricing, quotations, and logistics
Years of Experience
At least 1-2 years of field sales experience in technical products, hardware or construction supply
