We are looking for a strong sales professional with extensive experience in the Freight Forwarding industry to join our Sea Logistics team.

Your Role

Utilizing your demonstrated superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge, this role is primarily tasked with developing and diversifying business to increase income and guarantee the future growth of the organization. Your core tasks and responsibilities will include:

Your Responsibilities
  • Own, monitor, and drive all sales activities of customers and prospects, focusing on Trans Pacific business and opportunities within your control.
  • Regularly align with the network to identify, pursue, and close sales leads and opportunities not locally controlled.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture prospects through the sales pipeline to close profitable and sustainable customer deals.
  • Align your sales efforts with CCL Managers, Pricing, and Sea Logistics Business Development teams, including pricing decisions.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
  • Report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.
  • Align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.
  • Maintain and update relevant customer information in internal systems.
  • Regularly review customer portfolios with CCL Managers and team.
  • Focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with CCL.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Desirable: A minimum of 2 years' experience in the US trade lane.
  • Experience in generating your own sales leads would be beneficial.
