Invoice Management:

Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.Resolve billing discrepancies or issues with customers. Payment Processing: Record and process incoming payments accurately and promptly.Reconcile accounts receivable balances with bank statements.Apply payments to customer accounts and update records accordingly. Collection Management: Follow up with customers on overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, or letters to facilitate prompt payment. Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding their accounts, providing statements and answering queries.Address and resolve issues related to unpaid invoices.Maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate smooth collections. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collection forecasts.Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable transactions.Assist with audits by providing documentation and support as needed.The Pillars of Success: Attributes and Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field. Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
