We are seeking a standout Marketing Automation Specialist to join one of our dynamic and respected cross-functional Tribes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Chapter lead and a diverse team of Customer Interactions professionals focusing on below-the-line campaigns. This specialized team consists of both innovative Marketing Automation Specialists and experienced ING employees.

Working in alignment with key cross-functional partners like product owners, marketing, and technology teams, you will be tasked with creating, executing, and overseeing personalized customer campaigns across various channels using top-notch industry tools.

This position is perfect if you have experience with inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, seek to enhance your proficiency in Marketing Automation technology, and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide consultation to key stakeholders on optimal campaign design and implementation
  • Challenge current data utilization practices to ensure campaigns effectively leverage available data resources, including customer segmentation and propensity models
  • Develop and execute robust campaigns within established timelines
  • Rigorously test your own and colleagues' work while adhering to agreed-upon campaign quality protocols
  • Incorporate strong test-and-learn methodologies into campaigns by utilizing data-driven insights and past experiences

What we seek in you

  • Preferably, experience with Unica Suite; however, familiarity with other similar marketing automation platforms like Pega, Adobe Campaign, and SAS360 is also beneficial
  • Solid skills in SQL or databases and a good grasp of relational database structures (advantageous)
  • Experience in executing customer campaigns, including planning, sizing, list extraction, and data preparation (at least 1 year in Marketing Automation)
  • Strong communication skills, able to influence various stakeholders across product, business operations, and tech for optimal results
  • Effective project planning skills and ability to deliver on project milestones
