Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the agency's office staff with various administrative tasks and projects, including answering phones, handling customer service issues, ordering supplies, assisting with billing and payroll, accounts receivable collections and more. The goal for the person in this role is to fully understand the entire business operation and assist all departments whenever needed.

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls to our main line.Engage callers and ask questions to determine what the callers needs are and handle their request and/or transfer the caller to someone who can address their needs.Participate in our office on-call rotation. On your assigned days, you will answer phones and deal with issues after business hours and during the weekend.Review and complete payer application requirements, verify member benefits and work through authorization processes before care services are rendered.Assist the management team throughout the accounts receivable process including completing billing activities, making collections calls, and working with our bookkeeping partner to ensure we receive prompt payments from insurance companies and other payers. Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious experience in business administration, operations, or client services with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding target metricsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to analyze various situations and be comfortable and confident applying previous experience, training and common sense, especially when others are not available to provide step-by-step instructionsHighly organized and detail orientedExpert in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience in healthcare is a plus, but not required
