Job Summary:


The Employee Engagement Specialist is an experienced HR professional responsible for providing expert-level support to the organization's human resources function. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of HR principles and practices, with a focus on employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, retention, and compliance. The Employee Engagement Specialist will work independently to develop and implement HR initiatives that support the organization's goals and objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

Regular, transparent communication across all levels of the organization.Open channels for employees to provide feedback and ask questions.Access to training, mentorship, and career development programs.Clear pathways for career advancement within the organization.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
⦁ Conduct complex investigations of employee complaints and issues, including those related to harassment, discrimination, and employee conduct.
⦁ Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
⦁ Provide expert guidance and support to management on employee relations matters, including counseling and coaching.


BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
⦁ Develop and implement complex benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
⦁ Ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations and company policies.
⦁ Analyze benefit trends and make recommendations for improvement.

HR OPERATIONS
⦁ Manage HR administrative tasks, including payroll processing, personnel records, and employee data management.
⦁ Coordinate special projects and initiatives as assigned by HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist.

Experience with performance management and employee development programsEmployee RetentionRecruitment and OnboardingTalent Management – experience with employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, employee engagement, retention, performance management, and offboardingBachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field3 to 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field1-2 years of international/global experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive informationStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple prioritiesMust be willing to work onsiteMust be willing to work on night shifts PREFERRED
Experience with HR software systems (e.g. Workday, BambooHR)

DESIRED
⦁ Familiarity with succession planning and talent development strategies
⦁ Strong understanding of HR principles, practices and procedures.

Benefits:
⦁ HMO: PHP 150,000 per illness/year, +1 dependent at PHP 150,000 per illness/year.
⦁ Life Insurance: PHP 1,000,000 death benefit, PHP 1,000,000 accidental death/disablement, PHP 500,000 crisis cover.
⦁ 13th Month Pay: Equivalent to monthly salary, pro-rated in the first year, paid in December.
