About the role

We are seeking a motivated Call Center Specialist to join our Credit & Collections team. As a Call Center Specialist, you will play a crucial role in proactively managing customer accounts and driving collections efforts to support the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls to engage with customers and resolve escalated account issues
  • Identifying and implementing effective strategies to collect outstanding payments and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions
  • Accurately documenting customer interactions and maintaining detailed records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless resolution of customer queries and concerns
  • Continuously improving personal and team performance through ongoing training and development
Requirements
  • Experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in a collections or debt recovery environment
  • Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills to effectively manage customer accounts and secure payments
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and data entry
  • A positive, proactive, and resilient attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
