An exciting Total Rewards Officer job opportunity has opened up at one of the world's leading construction equipment companies.

About the Total Rewards Officer Role:
The role will play a crucial role in managing and administering the organisation's benefits programmes, with a primary focus on benefits administration. Additionally, the role will involve contributing to strategic initiatives related to employee compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration (80%):

  1. Enrolment and Communication:
  • Manage employee benefits enrolment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Communicate benefit programs effectively to employees, providing assistance, and guidance as needed
Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with benefits vendors to ensure seamless administration of health, wellness, retirement, and other benefit plans
  • Conduct regular reviews of vendor performance and negotiate contract terms
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits
  • Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends in benefits utilisation
Claims Resolution:
  • Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to resolve claims and address concerns
  • Facilitate the resolution of benefits-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
Benefits Audits:
  • Conduct periodic audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement corrective actions based on audit findings

Strategic Contributions (20%):

  1. Total Rewards Strategy:
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation's total rewards strategy
  • Provide insights and recommendations on enhancing the overall compensation and benefits structure
Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to total rewards
  • Conduct market research to benchmark the organisation's benefits offerings against industry standards
Employee Engagement:
  • Assist in designing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement through the organisation's total rewards programmes
  • Participate in the development of communication strategies to promote benefits awareness
Project Management:
  • Lead or support projects related to total rewards, including system implementations, policy updates, and process improvements
  • Ensure projects are executed within established timelines and budget constraints

To thrive in this Total Rewards Officer role, you must have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or any related course.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • At least six years' experience in benefits administration, with a strong understanding of benefits regulations
  • Familiarity with HRIS and benefits administration systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
