Your Tasks

Role purpose

Head of HR Philippines is responsible to formulate the mid-term & short-term people strategies aligned with the business priorities, oversee local HR operations, and lead local implementation of global/regional people initiatives. This role is a member of the Country Leadership Team with an operational reporting line to Country Manager Philippines and a functional reporting line to HR Director MU ASEAN.

Responsibilities:


• Lead the local implementation of Global/Regional/MU HR strategy.

• Provide HR leadership to the business leaders and line managers within local leadership team.

• Provide a local perspective of business needs and requirements to the MU/ Region & Global HR agenda.

• Translate local business requirements into local HR goals, plans, performance objectives and actions.

• Ensure that all HR operations, processes, policies and practices are in line with laws and regulations and delivered effectively in a best-in-class manner as well as enhance the level of employee satisfaction.

• Safeguard talent pipeline through active succession planning and talent attraction (internal & external recruiting) via multiple referral channels and supervise selection process including corporate talent programs.

• Responsible for the development of local remuneration policies within the corporate guidelines, and ensure regular updates and monitoring of labor market requirements.

• Provide advice to the Local Leadership Team on the forms of employee engagement and involvement to adopt.

• Responsible for staff cost budgeting, project management and oversight of relevant departmental change programs to effectively define and deliver a continuous improvement agenda.

• Lead internal communications, employer branding and CSR activities to ensure that they are in line with the company strategy, purpose and core values and enable positive employee experience.

• Lead and steer the people aspects of organizational changes that arise from Global/Regional/MU business unit transformations.

• Lead, coach and develop HR team members to be HR professional and build team capability.

Your Profile

Knowledge, Skills & Experience


• University Degree

• 8+ years of working experience in HR capacity, preferably in MNC or FMCG companies.

• Strong business partner and relationship building capabilities.

• Good analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as stakeholder management.

• Good knowledge of relevant labour laws and ability to interact with counterparts, government agencies.

• Show strong sense of ownership to drive business beyond its potential.

• Able to work and navigate well in matrix organization.

• Excellent work ethic and grounding of discretion and confidentiality.
