Job Title: Specialist I, Order Management Marine Solutions

In this role, you will provide critical support to the Marine Tank Management—Damcos After Sales group by entering purchase orders from marine industry customers into the SAP data processing system. Your timely responses to general customer inquiries and effective management of customer orders will enable the generation of clean invoices for efficient accounts.

This is a vital role that contributes to driving growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation. As a Specialist I, Order Management Marine Solutions, you will be part of a dedicated team of motivated professionals who share a collective passion for progress and excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Respond to general inquiries and requests from customers, identifying the need for escalations.
  • Allocate requests, tasks, and emails to the appropriate individual or support group, managing workload and escalations.
  • Verify the completeness of commercial requirements for Tier 0 orders.
  • Assess customer commercial requirements and apply applicable items (terms and conditions, delivery method, etc.) to the order.
  • Enter data, orders, and items into the business system, generate purchase requisitions and orders, and send customer order acknowledgment.
  • Coordinate with factory personnel and reps, inside sales, and customer support teams to monitor the status of RFQs, orders, buyouts, shipment holds, shipment status, and inspections.
  • Request credit notes for product returns, incorrect billing or charges, or data-entry errors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in related documentation management, data entry, and/or data administration support or function.
  • Proficiency in English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
