About the Role

In this capacity, you will build positive relationships with key suppliers, manage their performance, and ensure the right materials arrive on time to avoid factory operation delays or line stoppages. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders and managing supplier acknowledgments
  • Expediting purchase orders and communicating delivery information to impacted departments
  • Managing material shortages, short shipments, and buy lists
  • Analyzing invoice discrepancies and communicating resolutions to collaborators based on standard processes
  • Resolving quality and non-conformance material reports
  • Contacting vendors and shippers to improve or validate acknowledgement details
  • Performing production planning and scheduling tasks, including capacity planning, work order releases, and large order spreading
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can efficiently carry out tasks independently and generate accurate, high-quality reports. You should be proactive and innovative in approaching problem-solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related courses
  • 2.5 years of relevant experience in Buying, Production Planning and Control, S&OP, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain
  • Intermediate understanding of Supply Chain systems, tools, and applications
  • Knowledgeable of Supply Chain functions, concepts, and processes
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Commodities, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Material Requirement Planning, Metrics Reporting, and Gap Analysis
