Job Title: Representative I, Technical Support

Emerson, a global leader in automation technology and software, is seeking a skilled Representative I, Technical Support to join our team. With 133 years of history, we have been driven by innovative thinking and bold transformations, shaping us into the company we are today.

This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your customer service skills and build a positive relationship with our customers by providing pre- and post-sales support to our end users and channel partners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with accurate information regarding products.
  • Educate, promote, or sell products to customers to meet their needs, suggesting support literature, videos, and other marketing tools according to the company's established programs and marketing initiatives.
  • Process orders received by telephone, fax, and email.
  • Assist customers in tracking shipments and determining their status.
  • Process and authorize returns.
  • Partner with customers to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Effectively identify and evaluate alternative solutions to customer concerns before making decisions in a timely manner.

About You:

You are a results-driven individual with excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. You have a strong drive for results, agility, flexibility, and a passion for getting things done. You can efficiently carry out tasks independently and generate accurate, high-quality reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any 4-year course.
  • Proven experience in using personal computers and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • College undergraduates with relevant work experience and fresh graduates with excellent English communication skills are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service is a plus.
