Billing and Collection Manager

Responsible for overseeing the approval of credit terms, development
of the credit policies and collection strategies as well as measures
metrics for edit control and collection activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Creates a credit risk management environment of an acceptable quality, in terms of established credit guidelines.
2.
Develops sound, acceptable processes and procedures for improving
credit analysis, payment collection and risk management with regards to
credit management.
3. Ensures credit viability on requests for extended terms, and evaluate various adjustments or exception documents.
4. Accountable for management and recovery of bad debts.
5. Accountable for the monitoring of receivables and collections updates necessary for management use.
6.
Develops processes and procedures for evaluating customer financial
capabilities and setting changing credit lines/limits, as well as credit
holds; implement liens as necessary to major delinquent accounts as
approved.
7. Designs strategies and improvements in billing preparation and collection efforts.
8. Reviews exceptional cases of credit application approval and collection payments for endorsement to the General Manager.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree in any business course
2. Must have a three to five (3-5) years working experience related to account receivables, billing and collections
3. Must have experience in the Credit Bureau Database
4. Must have at least three (3) years team management experience in a managerial capacity
5. Must be highly capable of handling different types of people
6. Must be keen to details
7. Must have strong communication (both written and oral), and negotiation skills
8. Must be highly analytical with high problem solving skills
9. Must be highly-organized and has a strong sense of ownership
10. Must have strong business sense
