  • Strong knowledge of compensation/benefits rewards practices
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing compensation/benefits programs as well as significant experience in salary survey methodologies/flexible benefit methodologies
  • Ability to identify problems, research and recommend solutions, develop proposals, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and work on own initiative
  • Very strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Designs & develops recognition programs to recognize, reward and engage talents
  • Recommend and seek approval for Annual Salary Adjustment rates
  • Participate in Surveys to gather market data and practices on Rewards, Recognition and Benefit implementations
  • Mancom presentation and approval of design and cost implication
  • Leads the Roll out, communication and implementation of approved recognition program
  • Project manage, develop workplans and coordinate with stakeholders in the design and approval of new Rewards programs
  • Reviews and ensures alignment of compensation/ benefits programs and services to the Company's Rewards Philosophy
  • Leads the roll out, communication and implementation of approved Compensation and Benefit Programs including promotion, salary adjustments, job evaluation, etc
  • Develops accurate Rewards Budget for the year
  • Conduct continuous analysis and reviews/reconciliation of actual costs against approved plan
  • Conduct market benchmarking on Rewards trends to take into consideration in the mancost budgeting
  • Ensures that compensation/ benefits programs are in accordance with required labor laws and statutory regulations
  • Monitors and analyzes compensation/ benefit trends in key markets, determine the Company's competitive position in employee compensation/ benefits and develop appropriate response strategies
  • Design and Implement updated Salary Structure
  • Design and implement updated variable pay programs
  • Identifies best practices pertaining to International Assignments and ensures continued competitiveness of the Company's expatriate/ posting provisions

Manila Water Company holds the exclusive right to provide water and used water services to the eastern side of Metro Manila ("Manila Concession" or "East Zone") under a Concession Agreement ("CA") entered into between the Company and Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System ("MWSS") in August 1997. The original term of the concession was for a period of 25 years to expire in 2022. The Company's concession was extended by another 15 years by MWSS and the Philippine Government in 2009, thereby extending the term from May 2022 to May 2037.

The Company provides water treatment, water distribution, sewerage and sanitation services to more than six million people in the East Zone, comprising a broad range of residential, semi-business, commercial and industrial customers. The East Zone encompasses 23 cities and municipalities spanning a 1,400-square kilometer area that includes Makati, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Pateros, San Juan, Taguig, Marikina, most parts of Quezon City, portions of Manila, as well as the following towns of Rizal: Angono, Antipolo, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jala-Jala, Morong, Pililia, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Tanay, Taytay, and Teresa.
