Position: HR Operations Specialist

The HR Operations Specialist supports the entire employee lifecycle by handling processes concerning recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, salary changes, promotions, compliance, reporting and HRIS administration. Responsibilities also include supporting the proper operation of payroll in cooperation with the payroll team. As an HR Operations Specialist, you act as an ambassador to the BDA culture and help to foster a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. To be successful as an HR Operations Specialist, you must have a deep interest in understanding technology, problem solving, and have a passion for organization and process efficiency. You will work with both internal and external clients and candidates and must possess great communication skills and the ability to pivot at a moment's notice to meet the clients' needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment
    • Support recruitment by participating in job ad posting, candidate selection, and interviewing for entry-level high volume positions
    • Schedule interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers for high volume positions
    • Draft employment offers for high volume positions and coordinate with HR Director for approvals
  2. Onboarding
    • Coordinate onboarding activities for all new hires that include employment documentation, background checks, I-9s, reference checks, and new hire correspondence
    • Create complete new hire employment files in databases
  3. ATS/HRIS Administration
    • Create user accounts, manage access, and update employee information on HRIS
    • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ATS/Onboarding/HRIS users
  4. Payroll Administration
    • Processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll through ADP for employees in multi-states
    • Processing terminations and payroll changes through ADP and coordinating with IT for access shutdown and asset recovery
  5. Other Duties
    • Coordinate HR Operations team and CHRO invoices for payment
    • Run regular reports for data analytics, forecasting, and trends
    • Assist with company events and other HR projects as assigned
Experience Requirements

1+ years of experience in HR Administration
1+ years of experience Recruiting in agency or corporate environment
Bachelor's degree in HR Management or Business Administration
Must have proven experience working in ADP Workforce Now
Applicant Tracking and Onboarding System experience preferred (Greenhouse/EMP Trust)
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience in data input
