THE POSITION

The Sr. Global Human Resources Specialist is responsible for providing support to the HR department of a multinational organization. They will provide frontline, day-to-day support in administering human resources policies and programs covering a broad range of HR topics including staffing, onboarding, benefits administration, training & development, and policy interpretation for their assigned markets. This role involves working closely with employees, managers, and HR professionals to ensure the smooth running of HR processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, follow procedures and pay careful attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE


• Maintain employee records, including personnel files, benefits records, and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality


• Process and maintain employee data related to time and attendance records, payroll information and employment related compliance forms


• Provide support to employees on HR-related queries, such as policies, procedures and reports, within determined SLAs. Track and document those queries via a ticketing system


• Assist with activities supporting the employee life-cycle, including preparing orientation materials, preparing probationary period documents, conducting background checks, assisting with off-boarding documents and completing VOE requests


• Support HR projects and initiatives, including digital transformation efforts and policy and procedural updates


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements across multiple countries.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE


• Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow procedures and pay careful attention to detail in a fast paced, fluid environment, should be comfortable working for Mid shift schedule that is 2PM - 10 PM Manila time.


• 2 years or more years of experience in an HR support / services role within a multi-national organization supporting European and Asian countries.


• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, demonstrating a sense of urgency.


• Excellent verbal & written communication skills required for vendor, client, and employee interaction.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are also essential for this role.


• Strong PC skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Internet & a capacity to learn new systems quickly.


• Experience in Workday or HRIS preferred.
