Business Development Officer

As our Business Development Officer, you'll be a key player in driving company growth. Working directly with the CEO, you'll align business development strategies with our vision, mission, and objectives. Your role includes market research, targeted outreach, and creating tailored sales strategies for key sectors. Acting as the subject matter expert, you'll schedule impactful appointments, engage with clients, and manage end-to-end sales cycles. Your proficiency in profiling strategic accounts will be pivotal, and your responsibilities extend to attending events, developing sales plans, and presenting reports to the CEO.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the CEO to align business development strategies with the company's vision, and mission, and set goals and objectives.
Reach out to prospects generated by various outside sources and respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle.
Schedule appointments and demos for the company when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over various channels, acting as the subject matter expert on the company's service offerings and solution development skills.
Follow up on inbound marketing leads, identify qualified opportunities, and provide appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.
Produce proposals and presentations that align with the outsourcing needs of clients in the designated sectors.
Assist the CEO in closing and finalizing client deals.
Present comprehensive reports to the CEO on strategic business development progress, market trends, and potential growth areas.
In-depth understanding of business development strategies.
Comprehensive knowledge of market research methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in CRM systems and database management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging in conversations and relationship building.
Strong analytical and research skills to conduct thorough market analysis.
Proficient in scheduling appointments, holding demos, and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Additional certifications in business development, sales, or a relevant field are a plus..
2+ years of experience in business development, and/or sales.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Previous experience working closely with senior executives and key stakeholders.
Track record of effectively conducting market research and implementing successful sales strategies.
