The People & Culture Manager will serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders and various business functions, translating business strategies and objectives to appropriate HR initiatives and plans. This role will involve handling HR policies and compliance, providing advisory to management team on strategic HR functions such as talent development, succession planning, reporting and analysis, and employee relations. The People & Culture Manager will play a critical role in developing the culture of the organization, acting as a change agent in strategic transformations, and being the key contact point for Global/Regional HR and lead the roll-out of new HR global initiatives.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Policies and Compliance

  • Development and implement of HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and making recommendations for policy revisions when necessary.

Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from posting job openings, candidate screening, organizing interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Prepare competitive salary proposals based on market benchmarks and seek management approval accordingly.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee inquiries and concerns professionally and confidentially.
  • Work closely with management to resolve employee relations issues and address grievances, escalating complex matters to Regional HR as needed.
  • Prepare grievance-related correspondences in accordance with company policy and due process.
  • Employee feedback form for the departing employees

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate HR reports and conduct data analyses to guide decision-making and propose value-added solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of current policies and processes.

Payroll and Compensation

  • Research and provide data on market compensation & benefits and where needed, improving the current system, and ensuring market competitiveness.
  • Review of payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Performance Management

  • Develop and implement an effective Performance Management process and guidelines to ensure that KPIs are designed in alignment to organizational goals, and that there is timely Performance Evaluation for all employees.
  • Ensure that Performance Management process is well-documented to identify high-potential talents for further development, and to address dissatisfactory performance.

Learning and Development

  • Develop and implement a learning roadmap and process in consideration of capabilities needed to achieve organizational objectives and meeting employees' career development plans.

Employee Engagement

  • Lead the planning and organization of Employee Engagement events (e.g. Company Events, Social Activities, etc.)

HR Projects

  • Work closely with Global/Regional HR on all new initiatives and act as the bridge between Global/Regional HR and local teams, ensuring local needs are communicated clearly to other stakeholders and vice versa.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Business Administration, Business Management, and other related courses.
  • 5 to 8 years of working experience in Human Resources, out of which at least 2 to 3 years as a HR Business Partner or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex HR issues.
  • Strong people management skills and proven ability to lead a HR project.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Previous experience in a multinational company will be highly regarded including experience in ISO documentation handling.
