About the Role:
As a Business Activation Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing plans to expand the business and enhance the market presence. You will develop and manage strategic partnerships to drive business growth and improve the organization's brand presence.

You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to identify and execute partnership opportunities that align with the company's objectives. In this role, you will be part of our Business Operations and Strategy (BOS) Department and report directly to the Head of BOS.

Responsibilities:
  • Market Awareness: Stay abreast of market shifts, identify emerging markets, and monitor new products and competitors.
  • Marketing and New Business Development: Identifying new product opportunities or products, packaging and service changes, surveying clients needs and trends, and tracking competitors.
  • P&L Management: Positively impacting the P&L through cost-containment and efficiency measures
  • Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with key organizations and businesses to drive growth and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as the main point of contact for all partnership-related matters.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, business acumen, a proven track record of building successful partnerships, and a deep understanding of the industry landscape.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Management, Marketing, or any related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • Must have at least 5 to 7 years of sales and marketing experience in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment, preferably in the Publishing, IT (SaaS), Pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries;
  • Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams to consistently meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
  • Prior experience in the e-learning industry targeting K-12 education institutions preferred
  • Existing connections and relationships with K-12 education institutions as clients highly valued
  • Candidates must not have an existing Non-Compete Agreement with other education technology companies.
