I. General Summary

Under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel, the junior paralegal will assist in preparing and standard form contracts and will after company secretarial and corporate housekeeping matters. He or she shall prepare, archive, and monitor obligations under the standard form contracts.

The paralegal shall support all markets of the Anytime Fitness Asia but focus on Hong Kong and Thailand in supporting Anytime Fitness Asia Corporate.

II. Qualification Requirements

  1. A bachelor's degree in the arts or sciences
  2. Experience in preparing standard form documentation and company secretarial work
  3. Proficient in English and MS Office
  4. Above average organizational and communications skills and willingness to study foreign law

III. Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensures that all group companies comply with corporate secretarial requirements in all markets and corporate housekeeping requirements are met; draft resolutions for all group companies in the regular course of business and circulate the same upon the approval of legal counsel for signature;
  2. Reviews based on a preapproved checklist of standard terms or prepares standard form agreements; confirms with the legal counsel in-charge that all departmental commercial approvals have been secured from decision-makers prior to recommending release of documentations for execution; secures name, designation, and email address of the counterparty's representative; confirms the execution of documents to key stakeholders; ensures that all executed documents are properly recorded and archived;
  3. Coordinate with matters across business units and departments to ensure efficient and accurate documentation and transaction; ability to comprehend application processes and requirements for securing business permits and license and to provide supporting documents in a timely manner and to explain Legal's roles in the process to stakeholders; and
  4. Other tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
