The Team

The role of this team is to protect its customers from fraudulent activity. The team achieves this by using various tools, processes and resources to identify, remove and mitigate malicious activity.

The APAC T&S team consists of two teams with regional analysts in Asia & ANZ, reporting into their Trust & Safety Lead. The team operates on a five-day shift during normal business hours.

The APAC T&S team consists of two teams with regional analysts in Asia & ANZ, reporting into their Trust & Safety Lead. The team operates on a five-day shift during normal business hours.

The Trust and Safety Lead at SEEK is responsible for managing and developing regional Trust & Safety business processes in the APAC region. This role involves leading and developing a group of analysts and engaging with various internal and external stakeholders. The Trust & Safety Leads in ANZ and Asia will work closely together as part of the T&S Leadership team under the mentorship of the APAC Trust & Safety Manager.

The preferred candidate will come from an analyst or customer-focused background. A genuine curiosity about people, problem-solving, customer interaction, fraud prevention, risk mitigation, and being an active member of a team are key qualities we are seeking.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Leading a team of regional Trust & Safety Analysts
• Cultivate an environment that encourages employees to excel, embrace learning opportunities, nurture personal growth, and consistently improve their skills.
• Nurturing a positive team culture and engagement
• Driving Trust & Safety process improvements and initiatives
• Proactively engage product teams on changes that may impact T&S processes
• Support and enable Trust & Safety initiatives in collaboration with the APAC Trust & Safety Manager
• Collaborate with relevant teams within the organization and external partners
• Incident management and support
• Handling customer inquiries that require additional attention
• Stay up to date with regional fraud trends and indicators as well as regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the Trust and Safety Community

To Succeed You'll Need

• Experience in leadership, coaching, mentoring, skills development & training of teams
• Foundational knowledge of identity theft, fraud and industry risk trends is highly valued.
• Experience collaborating within a team in a medium to large enterprise.
• A passion for security and client-first approach will help you succeed
• Outstanding verbal and written English communication
• Preferable Mandarin/Cantonese (verbal & reading)
• Relationship building and influencing skills
• Ability to prioritize and thrive under pressure.
