Job Background

The Senior Communications Associate will play a critical role in implementing ASSIST's communication and
visibility strategy; including the execution of ASSIST's branding, public relations and networking, organizational
communication, and special projects. The role will work as a part of ASSIST's Communications and Visibility
team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of creatives to produce marketing materials geared towards brand awareness, partnership promotion, and community engagement
  • Support the development and implementation of ASSIST's PR and media engagement plan, through establishing and maintaining partnerships with key media and influencers relevant to the present stakeholders of the organization
  • Manage the organization's social media platforms and website, and monitor the outcome of efforts on these different platforms
  • Coordination and communication with ASSIST's external stakeholders, including volunteers, institutional partners, networks, and associations
  • Manage internal knowledge platforms, databases, and tool

Secondary & Cross-Cutting Responsibilities

  • Attend and represent the organization at online and offline meetings, events, and conferences to grow brand recognition and awareness of ASSIST
  • Research and adopt for internal use the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in communications and visibility
  • Work with other teams and stakeholders to provide tools, resources, and other materials that support all C&V efforts
  • Degree or diploma in Communication Arts, Mass Communication, Marketing, Development Communication, Organizational Communication, or any related fields
  • At least 1 year of working experience is preferred, but outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Creative in ideating campaigns and unique marketing concepts and content
  • Strong writing and communication skills in English
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment and applies critical thinking to regular operations
  • Open-minded and enthusiastic to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Able to work and coordinate with the C&V team remotely
