Work you'll do

  • A Tax Associate (Consulting) needs to possess a solid understanding of fundamental Tax and Corporate Law to assist clients in the registration, dissolution, and/or restructuring of a legal entity in the Philippines.
  • They are also required to grasp corporate transactions and structures to provide tax and legal advice, engage in dialogue with government officials on matters impacting client needs.
  • Moreover, they will draft letters, protests, memoranda, position papers, and other similar documents rooted in tax and corporate regulations.
  • A Tax Associate should excel in handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines to fulfill client expectations.
  • In a client-facing capacity, the Tax Associate should adeptly communicate with clients from various backgrounds and simplify legal complexities for non-lawyers to comprehend.

Requirements

  1. Education. Law Degree Holder/4th Year Law Student/Lawyer.
  2. Work Experience. None mandatory.
  3. Certifications. No specific certifications needed.
  4. Other Qualifications.
  • Legal background (in Tax or Corporate Law, advantageous but not compulsory)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Willingness to engage with various government bodies
