Position Summary

The Assistant Brand Manager/Senior Brand Executive is responsible for supporting brand strategies & marketing objectives development. He/she is accountable for marketing plan implementation and evaluation to drive the company's business and brand objectives achievement. The incumbent manages the Brand Marketing, Digital marketing, and Trade marketing of assigned category/categories in Philippines. The incumbent will work closely with regional and local commercial and cross-functional teams to ensure inputs are provided strategically and timely to meet business objectives.

You will play an essential role to:

Manage and ensure a smooth running of the Brand Marketing operations within the assigned category/categories.

Brand Management

  • Recommend and develop strategic and tactical brand marketing plans to achieve business plans and objectives
  • Manage and deliver execution excellence of integrated brand plans, marketing campaigns (ATL and BTL), and product launches, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Consumer relationship management – recruitment, retention, and loyalty include consumer promotion planning
  • Digital marketing and touchpoints including but not limited to internet, brand website, social networks, eCommerce, mobile, email, live stream
  • Plan and manage A&P budget, continuously aiming for improved efficiencies and cost savings while maintaining budget effectiveness to achieve objectives and plan
  • Drive profound consumer understanding to develop concepts that can better address consumers' needs and attitudes in our products, services, or communications.
  • Collaborate and align with Sales to provide regular channel insights, shoppers' trend, market pricing, promotion effectiveness, to deep dive and drive better tactic execution across all channels, using the right insights to provide refinement recommendations to the brand strategies and promotional plans
  • Measurement and reporting of performance for all marketing activities, digital and eCommerce campaigns, against goals (ROI and KPIs)

Partnership and Agency Management

  • Work closely and collaborate with all agencies and partners i.e. creative, media, promotion, PR, event, agencies contracts, package, and KPIs
  • Support and manage the agency pitch process with the appointed agency (where relevant) and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate agencies' achievement of key targets / KPIs
  • Recommend and engage with KOLs, associations, and community agencies/societies for brand building.

Reporting

  • Monthly reports, post evaluation, and learnings of brand activities and campaigns
  • Competitive analysis which includes monitoring, reviewing, analyze competitors' activities such as pricing, communications, launches, marketing activities, and market share
  • A&P tracking and monitoring of actual spending and provisions against budget to ensure spending within A&P budget allocated (correct use of IO and GL code)
  • Support & participate in internal and external business reviews and business planning presentations

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 - 5 years of FMCG Marketing &/or Trade Marketing experience
  • Well-informed on the latest FMCG / Sales / Marketing best practices with good knowledge of the retail and e-commerce channels. Well-versed in both traditional and digital media
  • Strong project management skills. Able to juggle multiple projects within tight deadlines, work well under pressure, and excel in a fast-paced working environment
  • Positive working attitude. Self-motivated and proactive with a high level of commitment
  • Able to work independently as well as interact with people from all levels
  • Possess good business acumen, analytical skills, logical thinking and is hands-on
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
