As a Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of IFF by driving revenue, deploying strategies, and serving as a trusted business partner to some of our largest customers. The individual we are seeking will develop, implement & execute strategy to grow profitable sales and support overall business objectives of the corporation.

HOW YOU WILL LEAD AND CONTRIBUTE

Deliverables for the position:

• Drive business growth in Food Enzymes primarily Bakery, Brewing and exploring new business development in Co-Products and Cultures and dairy Enzyme within territory

• Manage key accounts and distributors to accomplish of Financial Targets within territory with timely sales execution

• Collaborate with Regional sales, marketing and application and other functional teams to execute and driven sales & marketing plan

• Prepare and update annual business plan within territory

• Maintain and update account profiles and account plans, call reports and opportunity pipelines in SFDC

Objectives:

• Build deeper business relationship with key accounts and understand customers needs to position our portfolio to grow business share in bakery and brewing.

• Identify key market/trends/customer segments and accounts to develop solid business plan in emerging segment of Co-Products, Cultures and Dairy enzymes to drive growth

• Collaborate and provide direction to channel partners to reach milestones and accelerate progress in customer buying cycles

• Proactively Build up Opportunity pipelines with existing and new products, new applications and new market segments

• Proactively Update competition landscape and Market intelligence once a year

• Provide/Coordinate first level supports to Key accounts and customers, including training to distributors sales team and work with Application teams for technical training and on-site technical service

• Execute Marketing events and local initiatives

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Excellent track record of building strong customer relationships in B2B Food segment

• Successful track record of transforming concepts into sustainable business growth

• Understand Customers processing conditions & work on problem solving/ feasible solutions with application teams to enable our solutions to be deployed in production


• Ability to convert market trends/customer needs into knowledge & opportunities

• Experiences in Managing Channel partners

• At least with bachelor degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical engineering or Processing, related fields with a Business Management education as added advantage.

• Willingness to travel more than 50% of working time.

• Ability to interact at multiple levels in customer organizations, including Owners & Senior Management and Operational level.

• Open minded. Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus as demands change; Aptitude for conflict management

• Self-motivated - Initiates appropriate actions and follows through without prompting or close supervision.

• Collaborative – work closely with multiple internal stakeholders – Regional sales, Marketing, application teams to leverage and execute growth plans

• Strong organization skill with systematic approach to be successful in food processing industry

• Strong interpersonal skills & networking capability

• Proven selling and negotiation skills

• Excellent English communication – written, oral and presentation skills

• 5+ years of total work experience in Sales/Business Development roles with some experience in sales of Food additive products (Eg. Enzymes, Texturant systems).
