JOB SUMMARY

Plays a pivotal role in securing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for the business that follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming stock, and be responsible for end to end purchases.

 

WORK ACTIVITIES

Procurement

Source and select appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing.Work with internal stakeholders (engineers and/or operations staff) to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.Responsible for order re/placement timing, supply and demand, material replenishment and supplier performance.Knows how to cost save for budgeting and meeting targets.Maintain contract with vendors with payment terms and negotiation.Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.Received request orders from different department, inspect deliveries, reconcile, and resolve order with discrepancies.Attend and invites trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

 

Admin

Keeping and monitoring daily records of staffs.Compilation of daily time record for construction worker, sub-contractor and semi-monthly for the office personnel.Reporting of purchases, evaluating vendors and keeping recommendations up to date.Preparation of end-to-end government mandated duties.Neat filing of receipts and contracts for reconciliation and transparency submission to immediate supervisor.Anticipate office needs of colleagues in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience in the workplace.

 

CONTEXT

The Purchasing Staff provides not just smooth but organized transaction with the suppliers by performing the above duties requires confidentiality, accuracy and honest reporting. The work day is spent most of the time in the office but also need to go out if physical representative of the company requires. Physical demands are require due to regular assistance. Work schedule are 6 days a week, 8 hours a day, specific time is 8 in the morning up to 5 in the afternoon. Psychological stress is usually low due to pioneer employee.
