You will ensure clients are fully informed about their projects, including required materials, information, and timing. Your role will also involve contributing to the team through general administrative duties to meet both client and business needs. Crunch the Numbers: Key Duties in Tax Compliance
Client Services:
Act as the point of contact for clients.Maintain the client database in workflow systems.Administer tax returns and update & liaise with the ATO portal.Handle ABN administration.Enter basic tax returns in WFM.Book client appointments.Prepare correspondence for ASIC annual reviews.Manage the client exit process.Workflow Process:
Set up jobs in WFM.Facilitate the delivery of work to the team according to the production plan.Review and check source documents; contact clients for missing information.Prepare source documents for the Fulfillment team.Collate and prepare financial and other reports for distribution to clients.Complete the end-of-job process and prepare invoicing.Update WFM with NOA information.Administration:
Sort and distribute incoming mail.Prepare outgoing mail.Prepare data for Tax Audit Insurance mail-outs (annually).Prepare Trust Resolutions annually for clients.Manage the debt collection process for the client.Reception:
Provide backup for reception during lunch periods and other times as required.Support Services:
Actively participate in the support services team and provide additional support to other team members as needed.Tax Your Skills: Essential Criteria for Success
Adhere to the organization's culture, values, and service statements.Display a solid understanding of a professional office environment.Demonstrate knowledge of ATO and ASIC services.Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to meet challenging deadlines.Strong computer literacy; experience with accounting and workflow management programs is advantageous.Experience with cloud applications is a plus.Practical and creative problem-solving skills.Demonstrate initiative and drive for continuous improvement.Exhibit high emotional maturity.Team player and quick learner.Confident in developing client relationships and building rapport with staff, business partners, and clients.Reap the Rewards: Perks That Add Up
