Mastering Financial Precision Every Day
Invoice Processing:
Generate and distribute invoices to clients according to established billing schedules.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of invoice details, including pricing, discounts, and terms.Coordinate with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.Payment Processing:
Receive and record payments from clients through various channels, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments.Reconcile payments received with invoices issued and update accounting records accordingly.Follow up on overdue payments and initiate collection efforts as necessary.Accounts Reconciliation:
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in customer accounts.Prepare regular reconciliation reports for management review.Customer Communication:
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding their account balances, payment status, and any outstanding issues.Respond promptly to inquiries from clients about invoices, payments, and account statements.Cultivate positive relationships with clients to facilitate timely payments and address concerns proactively.Credit Management:
Evaluate the creditworthiness of new customers and establish appropriate credit limits in coordination with management.Monitor credit limits and payment terms for existing customers, adjusting as necessary based on payment history and financial status.Review and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions to minimize bad debt risk.Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow projections, and other relevant metrics.Analyze trends and patterns in accounts receivable data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Provide insights and recommendations to management for enhancing accounts receivable processes and maximizing collections efficiency.Equipped for Excellence: Your Financial Skillset
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Proven experience (X years) working in accounts receivable or a related financial role.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.Any specific industry knowledge or additional qualifications as required.Investing in You: Rewards That Compound Your Success
