Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer supports the organization in ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards by monitoring business processes, conducting audits, and identifying potential compliance risks. The role includes assisting in the development and implementation of policies, systems, and controls to mitigate risk.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor business processes and conduct routine audits to identify potential compliance risks.
- Help implement policies, systems, or controls to reduce risk.
- Educate employees about regulatory and legal requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes.
- Assist in the maintenance and implementation of the management systems and certifications of the company.
- Administer all resources of the compliance program and ensure implementation of all programs according to accuracy and maintain knowledge on all compliance requirements, and provide support to the same, and if required training to subordinates.
- Analyze all compliance procedures and monitor all risks for the same and evaluate all potential defects and assist in resolution for the same and track all issues and administer consumer complaints, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain and process all categories for records and participate in all compliance committee meetings,and maintain records of all minutes for the same.
- Prepare all reports and work papers for management and coordinate with various departments to evaluate all queries and resolutions.
- Perform other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough understanding of relevant ISO management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001)
- Successful completion of a certified IMS Lead Auditor training course based on ISO 19011.
- Passing the examination associated with the training course
- Demonstrable work experience in a relevant field
- Practical experience in conducting management system audits
- Certification from a recognized auditor certification body
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
- Must have a stable internet connection
- Have your own laptop to use (preferred)
