Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Engineer to join our team. In this full-time, on-site role based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and efficiency of our facility. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions that arise in a timely manner
  • Coordinating with external contractors and vendors to schedule and oversee repair work
  • Monitoring energy usage and implementing energy-efficient measures to reduce our environmental impact
  • Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenditures
  • Collaborating with the Production and Facilities teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Building Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans, blueprints, and technical schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team to coordinate maintenance activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Willing to be assigned at Makati City.
