Essential Functions:

The job offered is a full-time on-site role as a Building Engineer in a mixed-use property in Quezon City. The Building Engineer shall assist in the management and administration of building operations, with functions related to facilities and equipment operation and maintenance, engineering, security, housekeeping and other operations, while ensuring compliance with regulations relating building and equipment operations. Specific duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Conduct regular equipment test runs to ensure readiness and availability.
  • Track tool and inventory consumption and generate regular inventory updates.
  • Address tenant concerns and coordinate solutions for facilities-related issues.
  • Maintain a safe environment for tenants, visitors, and personnel.
  • Conduct routine building inspections and generate status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Oversee building maintenance, facility operations, and safety compliance
  • Lead and coordinate repair, maintenance, and improvement projects
  • Supervise maintenance staff and service contractors
  • Monitor and respond promptly to emergencies and building concerns
  • Prepare regular reports on facility conditions and operations

In essence, a Building Engineer acts as a building's technical expert, ensuring safe and efficient operations consistent with standards set by management.

Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering;

At least 3 years experience in the field, or in a similar industry;

The abilities to take instruction, and foster a harmonious working environment are highly valued.
