Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Manager Expert to lead bids and opportunities within SAP engagements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing SAP proposals, shaping solution strategies, and driving pre-sales success. This role requires a blend of deep SAP expertise, strategic thinking, and client-facing experience to deliver competitive and compelling SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management & Proposal Development

  • Lead end-to-end management of SAP-related RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs.
  • Analyze customer requirements and design tailored SAP solutions in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
  • Prepare and review proposal documents, solution blueprints, pricing models, and compliance matrices.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as sales, legal, and commercial teams for input and approvals.

Solutioning & Architecture

  • Design high-level SAP solution architectures (R/3, S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP, and cloud offerings) based on industry-specific needs.
  • Recommend the most suitable SAP modules, platforms, and integrations for client environments.
  • Identify potential solution risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and bid defenses to present and justify proposed SAP solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with SAP account managers, partners, and OEMs during joint pursuits.
  • Influence stakeholders through a value-driven and consultative approach to SAP solutions.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor SAP market trends, competitor activities, and client demands.
  • Provide strategic insights to improve win rates and identify emerging business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP, with at least 3 years in pre-sales, bid management, or client-facing consulting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules and products, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Proven experience preparing winning SAP proposals and leading RFP responses.
  • Experience in industry-specific SAP solutions (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, public sector) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP partner ecosystems and licensing models is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Solid understanding of SAP pricing models and bid strategies.
  • Proficient in proposal writing and documentation.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with bid tools such as RFPIO, Loopio, or MS SharePoint is advantageous.
