Role Description

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, has the ability to think strategically, and is able to solve both business, and technical challenges. The Cloud DevOps engineer requires technical competency in various aspects of technology (Infrastructure, Cloud, DevSecOps, Application development, analytics) and must possess mastery in at least 2 of the areas mentioned. The Cloud DevOps engineer must also be able to articulate the business value of Corporate IT solutions. The Cloud DevOps engineer must be able to build, monitor, and manage the cloud infrastructure. The role requires the successful candidate to interact with several stakeholders, including Management, team leads, internal customers, and vendors.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of work experience in technical roles at a consulting/professional services company or cloud provider
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS in enterprise class environments.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience in 1-2 areas that's a technology passion such as infrastructure modernization, data management, application development, data and analytics, security and compliance, networking, SRE, migration and program management.
  • Hands on experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Has working knowledge on scripting and automation languages and tools e.g. with Python.
  • Background in working with Linux and Windows OS environments
