ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Associate to join our growing Cloud Infrastructure Team. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in cloud computing and system administration who wants to deepen their skills through hands-on projects and mentorship.

As an official Google Partner, AWB offers you the opportunity to work directly with Google Cloud technologies while supporting real-world ERP and business systems used by Filipino enterprises.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Launch and support Odoo ERP deployments on Google Cloud
  • Provision and maintain virtual machines, manage storage, and ensure system reliability
  • Work with databases (e.g., Cloud SQL) for backup, restore, and optimization
  • Troubleshoot GitLab self-hosted environments (user access, repo backup, CI/CD runners)
  • Provide Level 1 Google Workspace support (account setup, email configuration, policy enforcement)
  • Manage domain and DNS configurations across registrars and platforms
  • Support backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Maintain documentation, checklists, and runbooks
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers during deployments, upgrades, and maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1–2 years of professional experience in cloud or systems engineering
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Confidence with Linux systems and command-line interfaces
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud services (VMs, storage, databases) or AWS
  • Experience using Git or platforms like GitLab
  • Exposure to supporting local or Filipino businesses is an advantage
  • (Bonus) Experience with , CI/CD, or Google Workspace Admin Console
  • Some knowledge of scripting (Bash or Python)
  • Understanding of backup/restore strategies and networking/DNS concepts
  • A strong willingness to learn, improve, and document knowledge
