Job Description
Cloud Implementation & Maintenance

  • Deploy and configure secure, scalable, and resilient cloud resources according to design specifications.
  • Support day-to-day operations of cloud workloads, monitoring availability and performance.
  • Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to provision and manage resources consistently.

Automation & Optimization

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure updates.
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost, security, and performance.

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to incidents, perform troubleshooting, and resolve cloud-related issues.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security to resolve escalated issues.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure configurations comply with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud environments and configurations.

Minimum Qualifications
About the Role:
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms that meet business and application requirements. This role works closely with development, operations, and security teams to deploy cloud solutions, optimize resources, and ensure adherence to best practices, governance, and compliance standards.

Educational Attainment
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant IT Certifications, Such As

  • ITIL Certification
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (for cloud-native deployments)
  • AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Solutions Architect
  • Certified DevOps Engineer (Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, or GitLab CI/CD)

Work Experience
Cloud Engineering & Operations (3–5 years):

  • Deploying and managing workloads in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Supporting hybrid and multi-cloud operations.
  • Implementing IaC using Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.

CI/CD & Automation (2–4 Years)

  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automating deployments and routine tasks

Support & Troubleshooting (2–4 Years)

  • Providing operational support and resolving cloud-related incidents.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to restore service and prevent recurrence.
