Our key activities include:Identifying and developing new business in the SME segment

Identifying and driving strategic partnerships

Providing deep sales expertise to our partners and powering their growth

The Manager, Small Business Segment, based in Manila, Philippines, will be part of the Commercial and New Payments Flow team responsible for advancing Mastercard's small business efforts in Southeast Asia. This role reports to the Vice President, Small Business Segment Lead, SEA division.

The individual will support small business prepaid, debit, and credit card performance, including strategy development, product management, analysis, reporting, and sharing best practices. This role serves as a point of contact for all SME business development and sales to internal and external partners. The individual will partner with the Regional

Small Business organization to achieve GDV, new customer acquisition, market share, and revenue objectives for the market. RoleThe key objectives are to drive growth of the Small Business prepaid, debit, and credit card portfolios, and to achieve targets related to new wins, spend volumes, revenue, and market share through activities such as:Developing strategies and recommending new features and benefits to enhance sales and optimization strategies for bank partners, fintech, and startup communities

Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments and partners to support new launches and go-to-market initiatives

Providing consultative sales enablement during complex discussions, leveraging Mastercard's assets and positioning the organization as the best product partner

Monitoring industry trends and competitive products to adjust strategies accordingly

Championing digital enablement (e.g., contactless, tokenization) within the Small Business space and driving adoption

Communicating new products, services, and platform enhancements to stakeholders and customers

Relevant industry experience preferred (payments, cards, financial services, fintech, startups)Proven track record of initiating new approaches and delivering business results

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong research, analytical, and technical skills

Self-motivated with ability to operate in a cross-functional environment

Skilled in management reporting and data analysis for decision-making

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelOrganizational savvy and resilience to thrive in a high-pressure, goal-oriented environment

Willingness to travel regionally
