PST.AG is looking for an experienced Linux administrator to join the IT team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
  • Ensure the design of the system allows all components to work properly together
  • Make recommendations for future upgrades
  • Maintain network and system security
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues
  • Monitor networks to ensure security
  • Evaluate and modify the system's performance
  • Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
  • Maintain the integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
  • Design and deploy networks; maintain network servers such as file servers, and VPN gateways
  • Perform network address assignment
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
  • Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches

Your experience

  • Experience in tools and languages: Gitlab (or Github), Prometheus, Grafana, Python, Java,
  • Experience in at least one of these tools/languages: PostgreSQL, MySQL, ArangoDB.
  • Experience in at least one of these tools/languages: Firewall (iptables/nftables), Apache Nifi, Apache Web server, NGINX.
  • Demonstrate experience in Scrapy, self-hosted proxies, and REST APIs.

Must-haves

  • At least 3 years of work experience managing core Linux system (Debian/Ubuntu).
  • A Bachelor´s or Master's degree in Computer Science or any other field.
  • Ample knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, networking, and implementation.
  • Very good Troubleshooting skills on Linux system for applications, services, networking, hardware, etc.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in handling distributed data systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with AI/LLM use cases (e.g., automations, strength and limitations).
