Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Uptown 2, Philippines

Work Setup: Hybrid (Night Shift)

Onsite Frequency: once a month for night shift team, subject to client needs

Position Type: Contract


Summary:

We are seeking experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to join our team supporting SAP business applications. In this role, you'll work closely with CloudOps teams to automate manual processes, enhance deployment efficiency, improve system reliability, and ensure scalability across multiple cloud environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and deliver scalable, future-ready infrastructure automation solutions.
  • Proactively manage production environments by troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
  • Develop and enhance automation frameworks for virtual machine provisioning, OS-level configuration, and software setup.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, integration testing, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve deployment processes and system performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on infrastructure automation and Kubernetes on AWS or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
  • Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform, Linux administration (RHEL, SUSE), and GitOps pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace, ELK Stack, networking, virtualization, and serverless technologies.
  • Understanding of application security, including encryption, certificates, and secrets management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and mentoring.
