Position: Mainframe System Administrator

Location: Taguig City

Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule

Work Setup: Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain IBM z/OS and AS400 systems to ensure performance and availability.
  • Perform system monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Manage system backups, recovery procedures, and apply software updates.
  • Implement system security policies and maintain user access controls.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Maintain documentation and participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mainframe system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS, AS400/iSeries, CICS, and VSAM.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Base Pay: Php60, Php150,000.00 per month
