Technical Support Engineer (Server/Network/System)

The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for the first‑line support for end‑users across PSSLAI's desktop and business systems related to server, network and systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows PCs, Microsoft Office/O365, IP telephony, wireless networking, printers, scanners, displays, OS patching and imaging, antivirus, and basic Active Directory account management.

This role ensures timely resolution of incidents, accurate escalation, and adherence to service level agreements while maintaining system uptime and user satisfaction.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1–3 years' experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role
  • ITIL Foundation or CompTIA A+ certification preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in a financial institution environment is a plus.
  • Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient with Windows PC administration and Microsoft Office/O365 troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with IP telephony, Wi Fi configuration, and peripheral support
  • Experience with OS imaging tools and antivirus software
  • Basic Active Directory user and group management
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Understanding of banking and financial industry operational and security requirements
