The Civil Engineer / Designer will play a key technical role in project delivery, applying their expertise in civil engineering design and modelling to develop high-quality solutions. This role involves designing roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, utility services, water and sewer systems, and pavements whilst collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and ANZ-based stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

The successful candidate will bring their confidence and work ethic to ensure the successful implementation of IT initiatives at Aurecon.

What will you do?

We know the work we do is vital in assisting Aurecon's business globally. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

• Prepare and review detailed civil design, drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD, 12d, Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools.
• Develop and manage 3D models to support project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Ensure designs meet client specifications, ANZ standards or similar, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical reporting.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are achieved.
• Mentor junior designers and review their work for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with ANZ-based stakeholders and clients for project updates and reviews.
• Stay updated with ANZ design standards, codes, and best practices.
• Support tender preparation, cost estimation, and technical proposals when required.

You will also need the following capabilities:

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Engineering / Design experience
• Proficiency in industry design software including 12d, Civil 3D, Earthworks, and Roads Design
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a remote or multi-location team setting i.e ANZ region
• Proven skills in design and documentation of civil infrastructure
• Knowledge with Stormwater, Waste Water, and Water Supply Design is an advantage
