
Senior Billing Coordinator

You will support the organization's billing cycle by organizing, preparing, editing, and finalizing bills in coordination with Partners, legal staff, Practice Assistants, Inventory Managers, Revenue Controllers, Finance Managers, and other employees. Additionally, this role involves reviewing and proofreading the work of other Billing team members.
- Generate and prepare draft client and personal disbursement bills using our Finance system.
- Edit draft bills as instructed by partners, associates, and other employees. This includes (but is not limited to) narrative changes, write downs/ups, and transferring/combining/splitting entries.
- Finalize and reverse client and personal disbursement bills.
- Generate standard billing reports. The Senior Billing Coordinator must fully understand the basic fields used in these reports and assist in their analysis.
- Update (or coordinate the update of) client and matter records as requested by the appropriate parties.
- Submit e-Billing invoices either in the hub or client application.
- Gather, organize, and summarize back-ups for disbursements requested by clients, partners, associates, secretaries, and administrative employees.
- Identify and resolve issues related to personal disbursements by conducting research. Facilitate the extraction of supporting documents and perform billing activities to correct invoices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3-5 years of billing or accounting experience Strong attention to detail
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
