About the role:

We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Head to join our team in Sotogrande Davao Hotel. This is a full-time position based in Maa, Davao City.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies
  • Implement effective internal controls and risk management strategies
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiency

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong technical accounting and financial management skills, with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proven track record of implementing effective internal controls and driving operational improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and address business challenges
  • Willing to relocate in Davao City.
