As we scale nationwide, we're looking for a People Manager / HR Manager to help build and lead our people systems, culture, and operations. This role ensures that Muvr remains a place where teams thrive, processes run smoothly, and our values of clarity, empathy, and accountability guide every interaction.

Position Overview

The People Manager / HR Manager plays a critical role in shaping Muvr's employee experience — overseeing everything from hiring and onboarding to engagement, performance, and culture.

You'll collaborate with Product, Operations, and Leadership to build scalable people systems that support Muvr's fast growth while maintaining a human, transparent, and compliance-aligned workplace.

This is a hands-on, strategic HR role for someone who loves both building and leading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end people operations, including hiring, onboarding, performance, and offboarding.
  • Partner with department heads to forecast staffing needs and streamline recruitment.
  • Manage employee engagement, recognition, and feedback programs.
  • Oversee compliance with local labor laws, data privacy, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records using HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, Deel, ClickUp).
  • Facilitate performance reviews, coaching cycles, and career development initiatives.
  • Drive internal communications that reinforce company culture and transparency.
  • Collaborate with Enablement to design learning and upskilling programs.
  • Continuously improve processes to make Muvr's People Operations fast, compliant, and human-centered.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Organizational Development.
  • Proven experience managing people operations for distributed or remote teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, local labor laws, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HR tools like Deel, BambooHR, Rippling, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change with clarity and empathy.

Preferred:

  • Experience in tech startups, logistics, or marketplace environments.
  • Background in Learning & Development or HR Business Partner roles.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered HR tools or analytics.
  • Certification in HR Management or Organizational Psychology.
